Licensure (Texas)

Dr. Maribel T. Armenta is licensed to practice therapy in the State of Texas. Services are provided only to clients who are physically located in Texas at the time of each session, in accordance with state licensing regulations.

Telehealth Consent

All services are provided via telehealth using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. By engaging in telehealth services, clients acknowledge and consent to receiving therapy electronically. Telehealth may include certain limitations, such as technical difficulties or reduced ability to respond in emergencies. Clients are responsible for ensuring privacy during sessions.

Location Requirement

At the start of each session, clients may be asked to confirm their physical location. This information is required for legal and emergency purposes. If you are not physically located in Texas at the time of your session, services cannot be provided.

Records & Access

Clients have the right to request access to their records in accordance with Texas law. Requests must be submitted in writing and will be addressed within the timeframe allowed by state regulations.

Scope of Practice

Therapy services are provided within the scope of licensure and training. This practice does not provide legal advice, medical services, or emergency intervention.

Termination of Services

Clients may end therapy at any time. Likewise, I may recommend termination or referral if therapy is no longer clinically appropriate or beneficial. Whenever possible, termination will be discussed in advance to support a thoughtful transition..
